JOHN S. LOWRY draws on his extensive trial experience and over 17 years in the personal injury field to vigorously represent his clients through all stages of claims and litigation. He developed his trial skills in the Winnebago County State's Attorney office where he prosecuted DUI, reckless homicide and major felony cases. In his last twelve months as an Assistant State's Attorney, Mr. Lowry was lead trial attorney in ten felony jury trials, including three murder trials.
After moving to civil practice in 1990, Mr. Lowry has represented both insurance carriers and plaintiffs in the northern Illinois counties of Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, DeKalb, Stephenson, Lee, Ogle, Whiteside, and JoDaviess. He has successfully mediated numerous cases and he has also tried numerous cases to verdict.
Mr. Lowry is a member of the Illinois Association of Insurance Defense Counsel and Winnebago County Bar Association. He has lectured for the Illinois State Bar Association and Winnebago County Bar Association. Mr. Lowry resides in Rockford, Illinois with his wife and four children.
